Ingredients
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 packet yeast
  • 800 grams bread flour
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
Directions
  1. Proof yeast in water with two tsp sugar.
  2. Add flour to mixing bowl. Add salt to one side. Add proofed yeast to the other
  3. Add beaten eggs and honey. Start mixing slowly and add in oil slowly. Knead 5 minutes by machine on speed 2 or 10m by hand.
  4. Divide in two for rise. Each loaf is ~700 grams of dough. Rise overnight in fridge or an hour or two at room temp.
  5. Shape loaves. Preheat oven to 375.  Bake 22m
