Author Notes

Finger limes are a new arrival at the Santa Monica Farmers' market. They are an extremely resin-y version of lime, with small vescicles that pop like caviar. I thought they might taste good with gin. I was right. —EarlyToBed

What You'll Need
  • 1 shot gin (pref. hendriks)
  • 3 pieces ice
  • 1/2 lime, juice squeezed
  • 1 splash Mr. Q. Cucumber Soda
  • 3 Finger limes, cut in half, squeeze sacs into drink
  1. Put all ingredients in a tumbler. Don't mix too much. Drink.

So looking forward to getting my finger lime consignment next weekend. I can't promise to have them with copious amounts of gin but I'll get creative. Thank you

just got a huge shipment of Finger Limes - about 2 lbs - Can't drink enough Hendriks to use them up. Have sliced them and they are soaking. Will make Finger Lime Marmelade tomorrow morning.

Yes indeed it was yum--and it made me finish off my bottle of Hendriks. I liked slurping up the finger lime vescicles at the bottom of the drink, too.
