The taste of chai-spiced donuts is the perfect warm, comforting flavour for any winter day. With a blend of spices such as cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg the combination of spices with almond flour creates a fragrant and flavourful donut. maple sugar

coconut milk

1 teaspoon
vanilla extract
- Chai Spice Glaze
-
1 cup
confectioner sugar
-
1 teaspoon
cinnamon

1 teaspoon
vanilla

2 tablespoons
chai tea – brewed
Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a donut pan.
2.In a large bowl, whisk together the flours, sugar, baking powder, spices and salt.
3.In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk and vanilla, whisking to combine.
4.Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
5. Fill the donut molds 3/4 full with the batter.
6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a donut comes out clean.
7. Let the donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
8. To make the Chai Spice Glaze, combine all the ingredients and mix well. Dip the donuts into the glaze and enjoy.
