If you're one of the thousands heading to the movie theater this weekend for the premiere of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour you might be wondering what kinds of on-theme treats the theaters will have in store. Alamo Drafthouse—the movie theater chain known for its in-seat food and drink service—is leaning into the event with cocktails made specifically with Swifties in mind, like The Getaway Car.

Inspired by the hit song from Taylor's sixth studio album, Reputation, The Getaway Car is a play on an old fashioned. “All credit for recipe creation goes to our insanely talented food and beverage team, chefs Brad Sorenson and Trish Eichelberger, and National Beverage Director Vincent Favella,” Kelley Bondelie, VP of Operations at Alamo, says. “They are the masterminds behind all of our beverage offerings. Personally, the perfect cocktail experience is when my favorite drink is served in an elevated or exciting way, which our team executes season after season. Alamo is obsessed with providing our customers with the best cinematic experience, so this is a real love story.”

If The Getaway Car isn't quite to your taste, don't worry, the Drafthouse has a themed cocktail menu for the run of the movie. “The team created a curated range of cocktails with something for every fan, whether they are a sweet, sour, smokey, or sparkle Swiftie,” Trish says. —Food52
