Makes: 3 loaves
cup soft butter
- Heat milk to lukewarm dissolve yeast
- In large bowl beat eggs and sugar until foamy. Add milk, cardamom 2 C. flour beat on medium speed X2 minutes until smooth and elastic. Stir in butter, salt and enough flour until can kneed. Kneed until smooth and shiny.
- Put in greased bowl and let rise. Divide, braid in 3 loaves let rise again. Brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with sugar and almonds bake in 375 degree oven for 20-30 minutes.
