Over 80 years ago, the Hijikata family first gained fame throughout Japan for their cast iron expertise. Fast forward to the 20th century, and two brothers who inherited the family business decided to use that know-how to create cookware like none other. Vermicular was born, and now their cast-iron induction cooker is a centerpiece in kitchens all over. (After giving it a try, we can see why.)
