The finest things in life are linen.
What's better than one gorgeous Studiopatró linen? Two! This set pairs their slate-blue kitchen apron with the 52 stripes tea towel, custom designed for Food52.
We prefer the slate blue linen apron over all others because it makes us feel a little lovelier while we cook. So go ahead -- make a mess in your kitchen.
The striped towel was inspired by an old photo of Picasso (in a striped shirt, at a striped table), and is handprinted with 52 bright blue intersecting stripes. These towels are absorbent, sturdy, and become softer with each use, meaning they just get better over time. We also love using them to line bread baskets for the dinner table, or to wrap wine bottles to bring as gifts.

Details & Materials -

Apron: 35" long x 30" wide; Tea towel: 26" long x 18" wide
Care & Notes -
Machine wash in cold or warm water with a mild detergent (no bleach, please!). Hang to dry or tumble dry on low heat. Ironing is optional because wrinkled or pressed, this apron looks good. Approximately 5% shrinkage will occur with the first wash.
Regarding sizing of the apron, the bib of this apron measures 10" wide at the very top and gets a bit wider as it slopes down towards the sides. The adjustable straps are very long (about 60"), allowing the apron to be and tied around the front or tied in the back.

The meeting of form and function is an important aspect of all our kitchen tools. For Studiopatró, it’s their raison d'être. They create products that are beautiful (hand-printed, fine European linen) and practical (strong, laundry-safe, and they soften with use). And each piece is made with ecologically friendly materials. Because Studiopatró doesn’t believe you should have to compromise -- and neither do we.View Full Profile
