European Style Bread Set with Baker's Couche from King Arthur Flour
This bread kit will have you baking -- and eating -- more homemade bread, instantly. You'll get:
Baker's Couche: A canvas cloth used by artisan bakers to create the crustiest baguettes -- plus, the finished edges won't fray over time.
European Style Artisan Bread Flour: In the style of the medium-protein flour French and Italian bakers use for their signature hearth breads. Your dough will be mellow, not tight, and should yield great oven-spring.
Saf Red Instant Yeast: This vacuum-packed, 1-pound brick makes about 96 loaves of bread. Widely used by professionals, SAF is the #1-selling yeast worldwide.
Artisan Bread Topping: Add to your loaves with flax, toasted sesame, black caraway, midget sunflower, poppy, and anise seeds.

Care & Notes
Baker's Couche: Simply brush flour off the couche when done. If dough sticks, allow it to dry, then scrape off. Please DO NOT wash your couche! Doing so washes away the yeasty, floury surface that gives your bread the unique crust for which baguettes are known.
European Style Artisan Bread Flour: Carefully milled from the finest spring and winter wheats. Enhanced with a touch of ascorbic acid and white whole wheat, for yeast growth. 11.7% protein.
Saf Red Instant Yeast: Store in an airtight container: for 6 months at room temperature or in the fridge; or for a year or longer in your freezer.
