What are some ways you use tomato jam? I definitely want to try this recipe!
I have not made this tomato jam, but in general I am a huge fan of tomato jams. It more or less has become my ketchup replacement. Great condiment on sandwiches, love adding a spoonful to creamy polenta and a fried egg, any which way you want a little added flavor. Delicious on crackers with cheese too!
on top of homemade ricotta scented with orange/lime zest would go well with this tomato jam. maybe with some freshly minced chilies on top with a garnish of fresh oregano leaves. oh, this goes on top of a crostini. in an endive leaf with serrano ham or crumbled andouille with a touch of feta or hispanic cheese.
It is delicious as a topping on my Buttered Corn On The Cob ice cream.
It's a great garnish on a cheese platter, especially with sharper hard cheeses.
A grilled cheese pannini or in place of tomatoes on a BLT in the winter when tomatoes are inedible.
Try it on any Indian curry where you might have liked tamarind chutney.
