added almost 2 years agoI wouldn't use fresh. As you surmise, they would add too much moisture. More importantly, their flavor is much less intense and concentrated than dried apricots. Even the dried apricots are somewhat low key in these scones (i.e., their flavor is not dominant), so I would fear the fresh getting lost altogether. ;o)
