A question about a recipe: Pear Rosemary Danish

I have a question about the recipe "Pear Rosemary Danish" from hardlikearmour.
This recipe looks like something I want to make immediately, but I hate to admit this, but I do not like rosemary at all. Would leaving this key ingredient out detract from the rest of the tart?

Although I made it to specs to much applause by the recipients, I agree the rosemary can be omitted without sacrificing the essential wonderfulness of the danish!
