  • Makes 1/2 cup
What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 2 cups cilantro leaves (packed)
  • 1/2 cup mint leaves (packed)
  • 1-2 small green chiles (start with one & increase heat if needed)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste
Directions
  1. In a food processor, blend all the ingredients with NO added water till smooth.

Thanks Kitchen butterfly, I know what you mean... Its extremely versatile! This is the absolute basic version I posted since a lot of my street food recipes called for it. I even dip corn chips in it! Love the mango slaw idea!

I love this chutney. Since an Indian friend taught me how to make it a few years ago, it has become a staple. I stir some in to yogurt to make a thick sauce, I coat mango juliennes in it to make a delicious sweet and sour slaw - will be posting my version soon. Love it tossed in sweetcorn. Shall I stop :-)
