We're guilty of trying to escape from the kitchen during the hottest months of the year. But we don't actually think of the kitchen as a place to flee. Ideally, a kitchen is an oasis, not an entrapment. We want to spend time amidst our pots and pans, even when turning on the oven makes us sweat.
