This week, we're celebrating summertime—prime cookout season—with Applegate.
Every sunny weekend in my neighborhood (and, perhaps, in yours), the park fills up with so many dog-wrangling, ice chest-toting folks that the picnic blankets spread like quilt squares across the lawn. Public-use charcoal grills are the hubs, and the smoky smell of hamburgers and chicken and grilled corn waft breezily. If you're not at one of these cookouts, you probably want to be.
Remember that summer-camp icebreaker, the one that starts, "I'm going on a picnic and I'm bringing..."? Well, this week, we want to see what you're bringing on your cookouts, whether in the park, or on your fire escape, or on your patio (or your friend's). Show us your grilled goods, your potato salads, your fat slabs of cold watermelon, your lemonade. Think of it as the biggest (virtual) cookout ever. You're invited!
We want your 'grams! Follow us, then Instagram your cookout fare with the hashtag #f52grams and #girlswhogrill—we'll regram our favorites.
Our friends at Applegate will give a grilling prize pack to a one lucky 'grammer.
