December 10, 2010

Watch A&M make TheRunawaySpoon's elegant, 5-ingredient ode to the thumbprint cookie: Fig and Blue Cheese Savouries. Learn some helpful cookie cutting tips, all about Merrill's cracker closet, and much less about our definition of "savory" -- if you can think of a better way for Amanda to explain the word to her kids, let us know!

This week's videos were once again shot and edited by filmmaker Elena Parker. For more open house inspiration, go here to see all 250 recipes entered in our contest for Your Best Open House Dish.

I made fig jam this summer. Think I'll make these to take to a friend for his Christmas party next week!

These look SOOOO GOOD! I think I'll try some with fig jam, and fill some others with pepper jelly to see how those taste. Definitely a keeper!
