I tried Miss Mary Loyd's dinner rolls with butter. Fantastic! Tender, rose very nicely, baked beautifully. Very tender on the inside with a nice brown crust. Loved this recipe

Thanks, ChezSuzanne, for testing these. I hope you like them. Suggestions welcome. I am making a golden challah for tonight which I hope will be lovely.

It's all my pleasure!! You had such fortitude in developing this recipe (LOVE the story), they HAVE to be tested!! And honestly I just love the rosemary and lemon flavor in bread - so I'm sure I'll love them. I've not made challah before, and want to take that on as my next bread project. I'd love to hear how it goes! Happy Holidays!

I'm happy to test two different recipes (I have already signed up for the Whole-grain Olive Oil Rolls), if not all have been claimed . . . . Both boys are home now, and they are both crazy about rolls!! ;o)

I'll be testing soozl's Easy Dinner Rolls, too. (I can't get an ingredient I need for the olive oil rolls until tomorrow, and need to bake again today anyway to feed the two bottomless pits who are home from college . . . so this will work out very well.) Thanks!!

How can anyone pass up Miss Mary Lloyds? The name alone conjures up images of a proper southern supper. I'll try them today.

Thanks lori! MrsWheelbarrow already snagged those for official testing purposes, but please feel free to leave your notes in the recipe's comments section if you do make them. These recipes still need testers: Rosemary Lemon Rolls, Ode to Ocelene's Rolls, Quick and Easy Dinner Rolls

Oh, I'm bummed. I didn't see this in time to try another roll. I'll add my comments to the recipe itself.

Hi wssmom! FYI…just made your recipe (delicious), posted a picture on your cook page (pic #2) and will get my review in by deadline. BTW, baking bread is and excellent way to spend time in the kitchen…for me, anyway. Today is my BD, and the 2 almost 3 hours spent baking and testing these enhanced an already wonderful day – now it’s off to the next adventure! Happy Holiday to you and everybody on Food52.
