by:

See everything it takes, from proofing to rolling, to make monkeymom's aptly named Heavenly Oatmeal-Molasses Rolls (even the dough smells divine).

This week's videos were once again shot and edited by filmmaker Elena Parker. For more dinner roll inspiration, go here.

Monkeymom's rolls are really amazing--I made them with half whole wheat flour and they were still flakey and light.

Not sure what I did wrong but I made these a few weeks back and they turned out very pale and not so appealing. I did use Molasses so not sure what went wrong - has anyone else had this happen?

I have the same dough scraper - got it in college - use it for everything, Thanks again for these great videos - always include great tips.

I love that you managed to make these rolls while wearing black and dark gray... and neither of you came out powder white. Very impressed :)

Thank you A&M! You know, ever since we saw Daniel Patterson talk about it, kaykay and I have been taking about making cultured butter next! If anyone has a good recipe/link/tips, I'd love to hear it.

Amanda, I'm super jealous of your $2 dough scraper. I wished for it when I made rolls last night.
