If You Could Ask Mark Bittman Anything...

October  5, 2016

Mark Bittman—the author of all the "everything" books, most recently How to Bake Everything—will be stopping by the office tomorrow afternoon to answer your questions. Tune into Facebook Live around 4:30 EST to chat with him.

For those of you who won't be available, we want to make sure your questions get answered! Let us know in the comments what questions you have for Mark Bittman. For one, I want to know what baking recipes he didn't include in his book about baking everything.

If you could ask Mark Bittman anything, what would it be? Share in the comments below!

How can you tell if your bread dough is overproofed? If it is overproofed, is there any way to rescue it?

More a challenge than a question. :) I serve Thanksgiving dinner late in the afternoon, and my guests are here all day. So I lay out some appetizers and tidbits late morning, early afternoon. I like to offer some flavor and pop, but nothing too heavy. Things that are a world away from the traditional Turkey Day spread to come. What might you suggest?

How does cooking with induction differ from conventional stovetop? I was gifted an induction cooktop but I'm intimidated by it.

Hi Mr. Bittman, you've possibly created more vegetarian recipes than almost anyone on this planet, how do you categorize and catalog them?
