I made the biscuits and they were tasty and had a nice peppery heat. I think they would be perfect. With gravy. I think the tellicherry pepper was wasted on me though - I couldn't tell the difference between it and regular black pepper. I also made the creamy asparagus soup in T&T. She called it something fancy but it was cream of asparagus soup, and easy to prepare. The shocked spinach water was a new technieque for me and really did color it nicely. I just used some regular pesto to garnish the soup with the asparagus slices as I didn't feel like making her garnish. It was fine. I also made the T&T simple salad. The dressing is wonderful and will be a staple for me. I was intimidated by this book and the reviews, but not any more.

I have Taste and Technique, and have cooked a number of the recipes, with stellar results. I'm hoping for a win...

My Two Souths gets my vote. I bought it for myself and 3 friends and I am rooting for it here.

After reading all the reviews, I'm leaning towards "My Two Souths"! It's on my shopping list for sure!
