5 Ways to Get Your Kitchen Party-Ready

At the most inviting and memorable of parties, guests always convene in the kitchen. We partnered with Caesarstone to showcase the surface we love to gather around. Strong enough for everyday cooking, and a stunning backdrop for drinks and hors d'oeuvres, it's always your foundation for elegant, joyful entertaining.

Most of the time, your countertop is the Grand Central station of your home—a hub for all sorts of activity: key-tossing, fruit-ripening, food-slicing, and homework-finishing. But it doesn't take much more than flowers and candlelight to elevate this workhorse surface when guests are on the way.

Once you’ve set the stage for snacks and drinks, it’s all about the details: good ingredients, full glasses, and thoughtful conversation with people you love. After you’ve sent guests home sated and full of cheer, reflect upon your good fortune during quiet moments washing dishes and wiping the counter clean. With another busy day just hours away, these are the things to savor.

Always start a party with an empty dishwasher and as much clear and clean counter space as possible.

I do too Soosie! In the summer, I usually have a big glass jar in the fridge filled with pickled shrimp using fresh South Carolina shrimp.
