Found: Your Favorite Grilling Recipe of 2018

July  9, 2018

So, how’s it going? Everything good? Do anything fun for the Fourth? How about Joey Chestnut, right? 74 hot dogs?! I can’t believe it. I mean, some people literally can’t believe it—did you hear the theory that he only ate 64? “Only” 64 hot dogs in 10 minutes! C’mon. That’s crazy. And what about this weather, right? Will it ever not be hot again? Wait. What? What’s that?

Oh. You’re here to find out which finalist won the grilling contest.

Well, we should get to it then, right? You probably don't need me to tell you about how many votes we tallied up. Or how amazing our top five recipes are. Or how ruthless the battle was between our final two. You probably just want me to get to the point, huh? And tell you the winner?

Okay, okay, I’ll tell you...the winner of our grilling contest... meganvt01! We could eat 74 of her flank steak sandwiches in 10 minutes. Okay, please don’t hold us to that. But they’re so dang good. I mean, just look at them:

Now, what are you waiting for? Book it to the recipe to make ’em for yourself. Stay tuned for an upcoming Q&A with meganvt01 and, in the meantime, wish her—and her fierce runner-up, louisez!—so many congratulations in the comments.

On Sunday, 7/15, we’ll announce our next contest theme. Clue: This steak sandwich would make a mighty fine entry. Hm! What could it mean, what could it mean…

What contest themes do you want to see in the fall and winter? Let us know in the comments!
