I took your suggestion and made both dishes for dinner last with amanda's peach tart (I swapped sour cherries for peaches) for dessert and wow, everyone LOVED it. Thanks for a great menu!

I should add that I don't normally like chicken and tomatoes together but the tomatoes (I used sungolds) in Merrill's recipe add a lovely dimension to the sauce without taking center stage. Super delicious!

I have made and loved both of these dishes - but not together - so time for another go 'round!!!! Thank heaven we have plenty of rose on hand!!!

Brilliant, and all I need is some ricotta salata and rose' wine. The garden, pantry and freezer provide the rest.
