These Do-It-All Glasses Take Up Half the Space

Close your eyes and picture your drinkware cabinet. What do you see? Teetering juice cups? Clunky mason jars? Branded pint glasses vying for the same space as 15+ sentimental mugs?

We know the feeling, which is why we’re over the moon to introduce our new Five Two glasses. They're here and they're on a mission to save space in cupboards the world over.

It wouldn’t be a Five Two launch, though, without specific community feedback woven into conception and development. That’s why we asked what you’d like to see in your glassware (apart from delicious beverages)— and you had a few great ideas ready for takeoff.

Points taken. Here’s where we landed:

Available in two versatile sizes, these beauties will have you reaching for them time and again. The taller 13.5 oz glass (which fits snugly inside the smaller one) is a go-to for iced tea, bedside water, and early morning smoothies. Its petite 10 oz counterpart, on the other hand, is just as comfortable serving whiskey neat as it is a layered dessert.

Not just purposefully sized (and pretty!), they walk the walk, too. They’re made of tempered glass, which is 4x stronger than regular (seriously, the stuff is used on deep sea diving masks). This makes them exceptionally resistant to breakage, and extra happy to take a spin in the dishwasher.

"We heard our community loud and clear," says Kristina Wasserman, Director of Five Two, "they were looking for durable, stackable everyday glassware that could handle the wear and tear of everyday life, tight squeezes in the dishwasher, and nesting that actually worked (no stuck stacks!). We paired down a big range of possible shapes and sizes to just two not-too-big, not-too-small shapes—sizes we felt could work for casual wine sipping, double old-fashioneds, juice, lemonades, and water alike."

Oh, and did we mention they’re crafted in Italy, with one-of-a-kind artisan-inspired touches? Figured we’d throw that in there.
