Prime Day’s Best Home Deals Are Still Up for Grabs
The very best ones among thousands of deals—literally.
You can reliably find some of the year’s biggest discounts during major holidays like Memorial Day or July 4th, but the very best ones—the ones worth refreshing the page every few minutes—are arguably during the holidays created around sales and sales alone. Case in point: Amazon Prime Day. While not the type of holiday where you’d get the day off from work, the retailer’s major annual sale features deals on everything from decor and small kitchen appliances to TVs and luxury beauty.
This year, Amazon Prime Day started on Tuesday, July 12 and runs through Wednesday, July 13 (as in, today!), with up to 79 percent off products from brands like Casper, Christopher Knight, Zinus, and more—and that’s just in the home category. Not to be outdone, though, many brands like Brooklinen and Wayfair are hosting their own sales this week if you’re looking specifically for bedding or like to comparison-shop (we always do).
Ahead, the best home deals you can still shop during the final hours of Amazon Prime Day, and if you’re looking for the latest and greatest deals on kitchen essentials and furniture, we've got you covered, too.
1. BLACK+DECKER Dustbuster AdvancedClean Cordless Handheld Vacuum, $59.99 $39.99
This popular handheld model may be tiny, but it’s incredibly powerful at grabbing crumbs, dirt, pet hair, and more—even in small spaces. It’s also super lightweight and much more convenient to grab than a stick vacuum when messes happen.
2. Amazon Basics Slim Velvet Non-Slip Suit Clothes Hangers (100-Pack), $44.85 $27.49
Clothing hangers are like hair elastics—you can never find one when you need them, and no matter how many you buy, you’re always needing more. These velvet hangers couldn’t go on sale at a better time, so you might want to stock up while they’re still this low.
3. Tineco Floor ONE S3 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, $399.99 $279.30
This vacuum-and-mop combo is super handy to have around the kitchen (where messes and spills seem to happen every five minutes). At 30 percent off, it’s the lowest price we’ve seen, and works on hardwood floors and tile alike.
4. Gallery Perfect Gallery Wall Kit, $99.99 $44.75
Normally, we’d pass on matchy-matchy photo frames, but if your space calls for art gallery-inspired walls, this set rises to the occasion. It comes with nine square frames with removable mats and hanging hardware. And at under than $5 a frame, it’s a solid steal this year.
5. Humble Crew Kids Book Rack Storage Bookshelf, $49.99 $20.99
Why should adults be the only ones to get in on the best deals? For little ones, this simple bookshelf keeps their favorite reads within arms’ reach. There are a few adorable colorways, but the steepest discount is on the goes-with-anything grey and white version.
6. Mellanni Queen Sheet Set, $47.97+ $35.97+
The best budget-friendly sheets we tested are at their lowest price ever during Prime Day, making them even more affordable than they were to begin with. The microfiber sheets feel like silk, and wash and dry well without too much wrinkling. They come in more than 40 colors, too, so go on—take your pick!
7. Zinus Tonja Platform Bed, $379 $256.70
If you’re in the market for an affordable and durable platform bed, this one from Zinus is a good low-profile pick. The metal interior provides extra support and the wood warms up the overall look, so it won’t detract from any bedding you throw on top.
8. nuLOOM Rigo Hand Woven Farmhouse Jute Area Rug, 6' Round, $229 $65.71
Jute rugs can soften and add texture to any space, though we do have to warn you about the extra dust they’ll bring (see below for an easy fix). For those who don’t mind the maintenance, jute rugs from NuLoom are on major sale; the prices vary depending on the size you want and some aren’t at their lowest, but they’re still among the cheaper prices we’ve seen.
9. iRobot Roomba i7+ (7550) Robot Vacuum with Automatic Dirt Disposal, $999.99 $499.99
Our love for robot vacuum cleaners knows no bounds. It’s an investment, for sure, but at 50 percent off, it’s the strongest deal we’ve seen to date. This i7+ model can be programmed to run on a certain schedule, docks into its charging station when it’s done cleaning, and empties whatever it picks up into its disposal base so you don’t have to clean out the vac each time. It’ll pay for itself as it goes about your floors, picking up everything in its path and saving you hours of vacuuming.
10. iRobot Braava Jet M6, $499.99 $299.99
And for those who are in the market for a robot mop, iRobot’s tiny but mighty Braava Jet is worth considering. It’s at its lowest price ever, and is a good companion to its robot vac cousin. It sprays water or cleaning fluid to loosen dirt and dried-on spills and goes over floors in a linear motion for maximum efficiency.
11. Lasko Household Tower Fan, 42", Silver T42951, $80.37 $59.99
A slightly different version than the best tower fan we tested, this is a more budget-friendly way to cool down a room if you don’t have air conditioning or just don’t want to turn it on. The slim tower is also great for small spaces and is super quiet, too.
12. Casper Sleep Original Hybrid Mattress, $1,295 $1,036
While not the cheapest price for Casper’s popular hybrid mattress, this Prime Day deal is even better than Casper’s own site, so if you’re comparison-shopping between the two, this might be your best bet.
13. BlueAir Blue 211+ Auto Air Purifier, $339.99 $237.99
Between cooking smells, DIY paint projects, pet dander, and candles that have been lit too long, our indoor air quality isn’t always pristine. The popular BlueAir air purifier is its lowest price ever, helping you clear smells, smoke, dust, and more that have overstayed their welcome. Best of all, it doesn’t look like an air purifier so it’ll work its magic without overwhelming your space.
