I love your message and this is a beautiful video. I think the kitchen is a wonderful place to teach children about so many things and your twins are very lucky indeed.

I make the "giant pancake" almost every week-end with my 6 year old - she likes to assemble it and then watch it grow through the oven window. It is amazing the transformation of how I view food and its origins has been changed by her arrival in my life.

Wow. I could watch you speak and then cook with your kids any day.Walker's grin is infectious. Lovely video. What kind of rasper are you using now? That looks great!

Beautiful -- the video, the children, the sense of ritual and respect that comes across. It reminds me of cooking with our children and their love of food, cooking and the values you speak of so well. And thank you for putting the Manifesto in front of us -- so worth remembering. (We made a similar recipe, in the guise of 'Seattle Dutch Babies" -- so exciting when it comes out of the oven all puffed up!)

Addie and Walker are just as engaging in real life as they are in the video. This video should be Youtubed. More American families should be encouraged to cook WITH their kids.

What a great video! Your twins are absolutely adorable! They're positively beaming at the end when they're ready to eat what they've helped to prepare.

Love the video. Enjoyed watching your beautiful children. We used to make oven pancakes together when they were younger...

Amazing and inspirational. Thanks for posting. I wonder what you think of the fact that not everyone has the opportunity or resources to shop at a farmer's market. I know it's one of my favorite things to do when I can get to it, but wonder whether it's something that can ever be available to everyone.

What a great video - important subject and just about the sweetest little kids ever! I love the part where Addie points out something spilled on the counter and also how Walker's hair looks like he just got out of bed. What else do the twins cook with you?

Wonderful video. When did you redo your kitchen? Did you just paint the existing cabinets or did you go all out and replace everything?
