Kitchen athletics can be gruelling (okay, this is harder, but still). Breaking down whole chickens, rolling out pie dough, and whipping things to soft peaks -- anyone who can master these without getting all sweaty is a champion in our eyes. But touching truths aside, we wanted to see someone win.
Watch what happened when we pitted three fierce cooks from our own staff -- Test Kitchen Manager Jennifer Vogliano, Developer Amanda Li, and Editor-in-Chief/co-founder with the mostest Merrill Stubbs -- against one another in a whisk-off. Cream, not egg whites -- we're not masochists.

I'm an ex-economist, lifelong-Californian who moved to New York to work in food media in 2007, before returning to the land of Dutch Crunch bread and tri-tip barbecues in 2020.
