We want to see frostings that can hold their own, that can make everything they touch better -- frostings that are, quite literally, the proverbial icing on the cake. Show us your best.

The Kitchn's Extra-Creamy Cooked Cream Cheese Frosting is one of my favorites - I wish I had come up with it! I add vanilla bean specks, cinnamon, or other spices as appropriate.

You guys come up with the most fun and creative contests! I've only tried making frosting once, unless ganache or whipped cream counts, so I can't wait to see all of the entries!
