When it comes to food, we're into sharing. We host holiday cookie and gift swaps; we've got potlucks down pat; we even share advice.
Today: We're excited to announce another opportunity for sharing. Save the date, Austinites!
If you live in Austin -- or if you're heading that way soon -- mark your calendars for Sunday, March 9. The fun folks at Brooklyn Brewery are gearing up for their annual SxSW party, and this year, they're letting us crash it.
The theme of the shindig is Countryfication, and to us, that means one thing: cornbread. So, between square dancing to live country music, parking yourself at the petting zoo, and downing cold beers at happy hour, we want you to join us there for a cornbread swap -- by our estimates, the first to ever hit Texas.
The rules are simple: Bring your favorite cornbread and a big appetite, then go forth and trade -- ideas, recipes, and tender, golden bread -- with your fellow Food52ers. Bonus points if you send us pictures.
The party, which will be free, is going down at The Grackle. Head to Brooklyn Brewery's page for more details and to RSVP.
