8 Food Blog Links We Love

March 14, 2014

We've scoured the web, found our favorite food blog posts, and now we're bringing them right to your desktop. It’s hard work, but someone has to do it.

With St. Patrick's Day falling on a Monday this year, you have ample time to whip up some festive dishes this weekend. Bake a loaf of soda bread, mash potatoes for colcannon, roll out dough for pot pies -- do all the prep now to make more time for whiskey-drinking later. Need some Irish-inspired recipes? Just read these links!

You should check out this cake - it's got a genuine Irish ingredient (no, not Guinness!) AND Baileys icing! http://kitchen-maid.blogspot.de/2014/03/treat-me-chocolate-potato-cake.html?m=1

I love many of the blogs that you have been sharing, but where is John Contratti's "Cooking With Mr. C."? It's one of the best cooking blogs out there. It's also very entertaining to look through. Some of the biggest names in entertainment are very aware and it would be nice to see him mentioned here too. Genesis T.

While you don't have time to brine your own corned beef like I did in my post, you can still make my grandmother's boiled corned beef and cabbage dinner which I wrote about on my blog this week! http://chefsallyjane.com/2014/03/11/corned-beef-with-cabbage-dinner/
