Looking for a great whoopie pie recipe, specifically no chocolate.

I do have a pumpkin one but I'm not near the book and may not be until xmas eve. It is old fashioned from Holiday Home Cooking. Can you adapt a cupcake recipe?

How about pumpkin with a cream cheese filling?
