How does this cake hold up to being in the fridge? I wonder if it would have better texture if I make it the day of my friend's birthday party, or if I can make it the day before.
I think it's one of those cakes that actually tastes better the next day, but I've never kept it in the fridge.
Most cake improved if you wrap airtight and store overnight. No need to chill. Then you unwrap and ice day-of.
