To be honest, this is a U.S. site so we are getting some requests of items unfamiliar to many of us. This is such one, for me. But possible some more informed person will come along.
I make stovies using skinless sausages, slicey, an onion, tatties and enough gravy to cover the ingredients. All you do is layer then in a slow cooker and leave to cook for as long as possible.
You can use steak or corned beef instead of sausage and slicey
