Per the above answers it's not a blend of spices it's one single berry. And ChefOno is correct on origin of the nomenclature.

Allspice looks like large black peppercorns. If you can't find it, you could try substituting
equal parts cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. It got its name because people thought it tasted like the three spices listed.

Sorry, didn't see the previous question. There aren't any ingredients in allspice, it's the dried unripe fruit of pimento dioica, a central american tree
