Beautiful! I always use a Ziploc bag and snip off the corner for piping.
Yeah - though I was imagining needing a stiff/metal tip to poke into the shell.
How about an ice pick (or cake tester or thermometer) to get you started?

Thanks all. Used a meat thermometer to poke hole and ziplock bag with corner cut off worked ok to fill.
Just right for fudgey frosting swirls.
