I'm looking for some recipe ideas to prepare for a toga party -- other than greek salad of course :) Any and all suggestion are welcome.

...and hemlock

I'm probably late to the party, but these sound tasty and easy to scale for a larger group. Just slice the sandwiches in smaller sizes.

For some reason ambrosia comes to mind.

Greek food is great for a party, but the Greeks didn't wear togas. (Check Wikipedia) Now, the Romans had an extraordinary history of extravagant banquets! Individuals spent until they were penniless, and the Emperor Heliogabalus reigned four years and completely emptied the treasury.... (I don't suppose you're planning that kind of party, though.)

How about lamb kebabs - http://www.marthastewart.com/351320/yogurt-marinated-lamb-kebabs and a tzatziki dip (http://www.marthastewart.com/339769/tzatziki) with warm pita bread
