I've got a can of chopped tomatoes but loads of spices. Any ideas for something other than tomato pasta?

How about a curry? You could use this recipe for Shrimp Madras curry as a base, varying the spices and using chicken or lamb instead of shrimp. 1 can of tomatoes is fine in place of the two fresh tomatoes.

Without knowing what spices you have... you might want to try Shakshouka, a North African skillet dish for eggs easy-up poached in spicy tomato sauce. Very delicious. David Lebovitz and Smitten Kitchen have recipes.

How about a braised chicken or a spicy lamb stew? You could also make chili!
