How long should flank steak marinate?
Recipes are all over the place--from 60 minutes to 24 hours. At what point is it good enough? I just got the marinate on a steak. Should we have it tonight or tomorrow?

It depends. The marinade's ingredients, time, temperature are all factors. Recipes are indeed all over the place, as is misinformation about the subject.
