marinated steak what to do

I marinated a flank steak using amandas recipe (bourbon and brown sugar). It's been in the refrigerator for over 3 hours now. Is it best to freeze it as is or cook it? It won't be consumed right away.

I freeze lots of steaks in marinades.
Especially if my butcher has a good sale on hanger or flank steaks.

I have no need to cook it anymore. Plans were canceled at the last minute. I'd rather freeze it if it will be okay when defrosted.

No problem. Just put it, marinade and all, in a ziplock bag and freeze.
You're good to go.
