Or broccoli roasted in the oven with olive oil, salt and pepper!

Brussels sprouts, the tiniest you can find. Steam and then finish in bacon fat, add maybe a small splash of vinegar. Fried okra. Not "green" exactly but you can split radicchio in half and skewer it with bacon and toss that on the grill.

Grilled vegetables - summer squash, zucchini, asparagus and eggplant tossed with olive oil salt and pepper. Or vegetable kabobs.
A simple and quick green side: roasted string beans with toasted almonds. Set oven to 450 - toast sliced almonds for 3-4 min; remove. Roast string beans with olive oil s+p for 12-13 minutes. Toss together
