the ginger cranberry chutney is too vinegary I added more sugar and more juice now it's too watery and still very vinegary

Can you give us a bit more to go on? What's the recipe you're using? The juice? If it's watery, you can always reduce it back down to your desired thickness with an aggressive simmer.
