In the gingered fig and cranberry chutney can I change the black mission fig for calimyrna fig?

Is this a Food52 recipe that you are referring to? Perhaps I can help to give you a better answer if I saw the actual recipe. Calimyrna figs are larger than Black Mission Figs, so if your recipe calls for a certain number of figs do keep that in mind. I find Black Mission Figs sweeter, so add sugar to taste in the chutney.
