Creamed Chipped Beef, or SOS (Sh*t on a Shingle): First make a roux of 2 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons flour butter; cook and stir for one minute. Whisk in 1 to 11/4 cups milk, some salt and pepper and heat to boiling; turn heat to low and simmer two minutes, stirring occasionally. Add dried beef and heat through. Spoon over toast. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve
hmm- I haven't made this before- there are many recipes available, but I don't have any experience with them . . .
