Any handy tips on a gala pie

As for "tips", consider using a very fine grind of pork, and when you put the eggs in, put a "mark" on the side of the pot as a guide to where to slice the pie so that you will cut through the egg perfectly in the middle showing the yolk and white against the backdrop of the pork.
