I'm ordering my first ice cream maker. Anyone have a favorite ice cream/sorbet cookbook they'd recommend?

I love Molly Moon's book: http://www.amazon.com/Molly-Moons-Homemade-Ice-Cream/dp/1570618100/ref=sr_1_33

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams is my favorite. Her technique works well and results in creamy ice cream. Ben and Jerry's has lots of recipes for favorite flavors, I use their recipes, adapted to Jeni's technique. Everyone likes David Lebovitz' book, but I haven't found it of much use.

The Perfect Scoop: Ice Creams, Sorbets, Granitas, and Sweet Accompaniments by Dave Lebovitz is a wonderful all-around book. I recently made the cheesecake ice cream and the salted caramel sauce to race reviews for a sundae party at work. I also love Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams at Home, which has a great technique for making super-smooth ice cream, though it's not a good option if you're not ok with corn syrup.

Yeah - pretty much David Lebovitz all the time.
