my dip is way too salty and I ruined it, as the soup mix was way too salty..

You are probably best off to trash it and start over without the soup mix. There are plenty of recipes around the internet that are good, easy and low sodium.

Not sure the dip, but one time I miss read the salt amt in a slaw recipe, T and tbs, haha. Managed it w sugar and vinegar.

You could try adding more sour cream, caramelized onions, and maybe some chopped parsley and lemon zest for freshness. Look up "caramelized onion dip" on this site (I keep trying to add a link, but I can't for some reason.). You might want to start over with fresh ingredients. You can control the salt much better that way.
