a question about the earl grey chocolate truffles

is the 1/4 cup measurement for the cream correct? it did nothing to melt the chocolate, which i then put in the microwave. but when it set, it was too hard to roll into balls. many other recipes on the web called for at least 1/2 cup of cream for 8 oz of chocolate.
could i have remelted the chocolate and added more cream?

Yes, you need more cream. If you read the comments, a few said it needed twice as much cream, tea, orange mixture. I would make a batch of the cream and add it to the chocolate over a double boiler. I think you'll be good to go after that.
