can i sub sour cream for creme fraiche in a terrine

Well, it looks like it worked. I'd bought creme fraiche at my local coop. Only upon opening it, ready to cook, did i realize it was vanilla creme fraiche. WTF?? When did they start messing with creme fraiche? Thanks for your answers.
