A question about a recipe: Beef Bourguignon in slow cooker? It's listed in the Slow Cooker Category but no instructions for slow cookers are given

You're referring to this recipe posted on Food52. https://food52.com/recipes/2969-beef-bourguignon Follow the recipe, cooking stove-top, until you reach the instruction that says to put it in the oven. Put it in the slow cooker and cook on high for 6 hours or low for 8. You should check it after 4 hours if you put it on high (and 5 hours on low), and every half hour after that, to see whether the meat is fork tender. It's easy to overcook this, especially if your meat is not well marbled (i.e., if it's at all lean). You could add the carrots, then, too (but of course, if you add carrots at all, it's not Beef Bourguignon. It will be a lovely stew, however). Hope this helps. ;o)

Thank you so much for the answer! This recipe sounds wonderful but I needed the slow cooker instructions since I am gone most of the day. I am sure it will be a hit with my family in spite of my busy schedule!
