When a recipe calls for strawberry-flavored gelatin powder is that the same as strawberry Jello?

Saw Pioneer Woman make a strawberry pie and she used what she called stawberry-gelatin powder and was wondering if it was the same as strawberry Jello?

Yes that would be the same thing. Usually they use generic terms because they cannot endorse brands and Jello is a brand name.
