The one thing I might be concerned about is the noodles soaking up too much of the liquid while sitting overnight, resulting in a less than perfect baked casserole. I might instead prep all the components, store them separately (or combined in logical groups, e.g., aromatics plus vegetables, eggs + milk + grated cheese, if the recipe calls for doing that) and add the liquid ingredients at the last minute before baking.

Hi there! I agree with AntoniaJames. You run the risk of the noodles being very soggy sitting in that liquid overnight! It might take you a bit more to assemble the day of, but your casserole will be better for it!
Yep! You can. I suggest tossing the noodles with a little oil to keep them from sticking together too much. Once they're cool, stash them in a Ziplock bag if you have it.
